As long as Blackburn lose to Spurs and QPR lose to Chelsea, we should be able to see this out.
How sad is it that we have to rely on teams below us failing to get any points to keep us up.

Is it possible to place a bet on which team will feature as the last match most regulary on Match Of The Day? If Villa stay up I know which team that will be next season.

Oh and goal difference is shrinking

Ours and Bolton's stayed the same, Wigan improved but are -8 behind. Goal difference isn't the concern. In fact we are massively lucky it is what it is.

There was good shape and vibrancy early on but things seemed to fizz out towards the end. Not a bad little bottle of Champagne to watch us win a nil-nil draw with.

We're three points off the bottom three and the others are looking more likely than us, we are on ever thinning ice.

Have you seen Blackburn and QPRs remaining fixtures? I'd rather be in our position and have the points in the bag.

Tomorrow I'll be cheering on Spurs... and Chelsea.

Strange times.

I wont be, if we cant stay up on our own merit we don't deserve for results to go in our favour
Bizarre comment, Mr Fuse!

If we stick with McLeish for the last two games, we will go down.

Agreed.

Martinez must be glad he didn't come to B6. It looks like Wigan will overtake us.

I think we'll stay up now. We may well not need any more points.
I'm not sure you can claim that, can you? - if BBurn win tomorrow it's all up for grabs.
They have a game in hand, we could be seriously fucked if they get a win or two.

The subs summed it up for me.N'zog, our only footballer to start, was taken off, Warnock, was he playing 2nd half?, kept on.Then a positive sub in the 90th minute.

I'm afraid McL is going through the motions now, could'nt put up with this kind of football another season.

Yep my thoughts too, just shows how far we have fallen.

My poor family. I would hate to share a house with me and Aston Villa.

My family have noticed an increase in me being angry or moody this last month or so, all linked to the villa!

Re the game, Gabby did really well at times second half, but his finishing was so poor. Heskey did well for me, and should keep his place, he is fighting for the cause, which we need.

Midfield was so ordinary,  but then had to be to stifle them. I think I would go in against Spurs with the same side save Ireland for NZogbia maybe.

Dunne, Cuellar and Lichaj were immense.

Given, save of the season without a doubt.

Hutton. Fuck me the man is the worst footballer in the league. What a donkey's camel spawn he is.
