For the first time all season I'm glad we didn't push for a winner.

As long as Blackburn lose to Spurs and QPR lose to Chelsea, we should be able to see this out.

As most of the season, we've failed to deliver in the final third. Overall a decent performance but offered very little in terms of goal threat.

MOTM: The Villa fans, load and proud.

We're so embarrasingly crap I just want to cry. Awful to watch us cluelessly trudge around the pitch. Hutton is a woeful. We showed no ambition either. Even during injury time we didn't push for the win quick enough. Sadly with our manager, it's always going to about securing 1 point first and foremost, more than trying to win. 2 points more and we'd be home and dry with 2 games to spare.

What a load of old bollocks though. Can't take another season of this. Get him out now!

If we stick with McLeish for the last two games, we will go down.

Mcleish is useless though, of course we didn't win. At least we're a bit closer to safety I think.

Scraping to survival like we probably will only ensures the end of McLeish. I want us to win out, but it's not going go happen. The end of season cannot come soon enough

Tomorrow I'll be cheering on Spurs... and Chelsea.

Strange times.

Should have won if we'd taken our chances but after Clattenburg had even'd up the pen count they should have had another one and we'd be down to 10 men. One point safer.

McLeish's demeanour throughout the game was strange - don't recall seeing him come out of the dugout once (frightened of fans reaction?) and looked completed deflated. Think he's been told he's offski at the end or the season.

Stay up? We are 3 points clear of drop, and keep expecting the others to lose, when they haven't done that.

Villa form: DLDLD
QPR: WLWLW
Wigan: WLWWL
Bolton: DWDLL
Blackburn: WLLLL

We need 2 of those to finish below us.

McLeish will be ecstatic with that.

Despite a few scary moments at the end I still couldn't bring myself to feel anything, that's how Villa have made me feel this season

Thankfully Bolton only drew. Hopefully Blackburn will lose. We'd probably be safe then. Wigan are level on points with us and have helped their goal difference. This is an excruciating way to try and stay up AM.
