No other thing for it: for the final three matches get 120% behind the lads.

2 we are safe. 1 we are in the hands of the chelsea result on Sunday.

None of you are even considering the possibility that we (QPR) might get more than a point out of a Chelsea side that have had a tough, tough couple of weeks, do not have a recognised centre back pairing, and are more interesting in two cup finals in the next four weeks?

We've beaten them once already this season, and that was back when we were genuinely rubbish.
So were they though, to be fair.

Also, from what I can remember of the game at Villa Park you're still pretty rubbish.

I mean, we're hopeless and we still spent 80% of the match camped on the edge of the QPR box.

Read this and weep - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/aston-villa/9224284/Aston-Villa-officially-enter-the-relegation-race-where-did-it-all-go-wrong.html

And that's why he cost £24 Million.

We all knew that if he got injured we'd be f****d and we are.

Note to Randy, you can't rely on ONE top striker and a CRAP Manager at this level.

Finally an article that acknowledges the fact the we're against him due to his 'football acumen and chequered record', not his affiliation to Blose.

I went to school with the author (if you're referring to that Torygraph article). He's a Villa fan, which probably explains that.

I must have studied more maths recently than in my entire school life. I think we will stay up by default looking at the other sides remaining fixtures. I am actually glad of the two remaining away games. We have a chance of picking up a couple of poins from them. Home games at the moment are a thing to be dreaded.

Just a quick look at games left ....

Bolton: Sunderland A Tottenham H WBA H Stoke A = 6 points (39points)
QPR: Chelsea A Stoke H Man C A = 3 points (37 points)
Blackburn: Tottenham A Wigan H Chelsea A = 1 point (32 points)
Wigan: Newcastle H Blackburn A Wolves H = 5 points (39 points)

Leaves Wolves, Blackburn and either QPR or us ....we would need 2 points as goal difference close with QPR - Can we achieve that? Yes ! but is that my heart still?

WBA went to Liverpool the other day and got completely outplayed.  They had pretty much one chance and took all three points.  We are good at getting outplayed at the moment, so lets just use this principle at WBA, and Norwich and take the six points that gets us to 42 points, so I can stop panicking.

Many more performances like the second half last night and I'll begin to question Alex's suitability for the job.

Begin!?

Sorry. Just fishing during a period of boredom.

all season ive thought we would just about manage to stay up but after last night i cant see us getting another point. Wigan and Bolton have both got very winnable games and will overtake us. QPR have got a couple of away games but the way they ae playing it wouldnt suprise me if they got a point at Chelsea on the weekend. I really think we are down right now,I really hop im wrong!!!how have things got this bad??

Is it worth locking this and starting a new 'Relegation-watch' thread? I really can't believe how far we've fallen.
