On current form I dont see how we are going to get out of it.

The team for one reason or another changes every match there is no stability or confidence left in them ,not to mention a lack of goals.Desperate times

Just looking at the table I think the fate of Aston Villa is out of our hands It's all about what the teams below us do

I reckon you're right.  I only see a solitary point from the remaining three fixtures.

It's about the other teams now, we're shot.

2 men rushed to make sure he was ok last night at the end of the game, he is their pal, mate, chum, football has been replaced by sentiment. That is how. Any reasonable, sane man would have sacked the inept fucker weeks ago, when it was blatant that this is where we were headed.

mind boggling that Lerner can reassure McTwat, what about reassuring us fans ?
We are just dismissed by the club and have been right from the start of this abominable reign of terror. Can't see us turning this around with him still in place he just hasn't got a clue . Now we face 2 weeks on death rrow with numerous fellow midlands supporters watching with glee twisting the knives-awful.

All the others have won with decent performances lately so will have some confidence, we on the other hand have in the main a bunch of kids punching above their weight, Weiman exemplifies this, gave his all and made some good runs but his inexperience showed out. Any other season under any other manager needing a couple of points from Baggies,Spurs and Norwich we would be a shoe in to get them. Thats how bad we are.

Simple fact is McLeish can't win.

I've never seen Manager like this in all my days. Someone who literally cannot construct a game-winning plan.

I said it before and now I'm smug but sad - it all hinged on this game - not points wise but morale. Now we're in trouble but as others have said it's nothing to do with us it's whether other teams can win. We've proved there's no rabbit coming out of our hat.

Randy should enjoy Mcliesh getting the attention coz it will soon be his name be the fans are singing about.

Aftet they scored the pen he should of made a sub just to slow things down but simple things like that are beyond him.

Carlos needlessly kicking the player over didn't help either though did it.

To get out of a mess like this you need a spirit, togetherness a willingness to fight, a backs to the wall take them on and win at all costs attitude. Teams around us have proved over the last few weeks they have it, we don’t, were a shambles and the management at Villa Park deserve relegation for their sheer incompetence

There does appear to be very little team spirit. I do fee for the kids and hope they come through this.
