t's all too much for "The Kids" at the moment, most were really poor last night, and they’re not receiving any support what-so-ever from the experienced players amongst them

If we don't go down this season, and we keep the current structure, manager, CEO, approach etc then we will go down next season. These cracks just can't be papered over anymore.

The only defence of McLeish is that the injuries are crippling at the moment. Herd, Baker Lichaj and Weimann all struggled when Bolton cranked up the pressure.

He desperately needs some experience back - Collins, Ireland, Gabby even Clark I guess will come into the reckoning for Sat.

Somehow, somewhere these players need to find a performance.

Teams that slide into trouble late in the day are normally the ones that can't save themselves. I think we've had it.

Nick, given the easy start, we should have had many more points on the board by Christmas. Too many draws when he had a fully fit squad.

Last night was a must not lose game, alot of fans took it for granted being an 'easy' game in hand. I think even a point would've seen us crawl to safety, now i really fear the worst.

I don't think we'll get another point this season. Our fate is in other teams hands.

Away at WBA, home to Spurs then away to Norwich? Can't see us getting anything.

That's how I see it also.

Wolves are down.  I think Blackburn will join them.  So it's a case of who comes bottom of the pile out of us, Wigan, QPR and Bolton.

It's going to be closer than a Turkish prison guard's breath on the back of your neck.

I don't think we can approach any game with confidence, considering the run we're on. As I've thought for the past few weeks, our fate will depend on the teams below us getting enough points to overhaul us. Trouble is, Wigan and QPR are in good form, Bolton now have that boost of three points last night and they have a game in hand.

I think Blackburn will go, then that leaves one place.

The only "proven premier league experience" that Randy craved is that he cannot win a relegation battle and we are about to see that for the third time.We have literally mirrored Blues season last year (in fact we are worse) Our fate is definitely in other teams hands

Nick, given the easy start, we should have had many more points on the board by Christmas. Too many draws when he had a fully fit squad.

Listening to the radio show on the way to VP last night, Franksy was saying about how many senior players were missing and Steve Froggatt jumped in and said that they had not been missing all season, with the squad at VP points should have been picked up earlier in the season and we should have been safe weeks ago.

I've gone beyond wondering if we are going down or not - I came to the conclusion that we were months ago. I'm now trying to focus on the positives of relegation - and there are some. It'll be easier getting out of the car park for one. Plus, away games may be fun again with a large (comparatively) contigent of Villa fans outsinging the locals and hopefully comin away with 3 points more often than not.

Wouldn't it be great to go to home games without believing that the very best we can expect is a draw?

We're going down. Just like we were at the start of the season. Just like we were on 17th June 2011 when that poor excuse for a manager was brought in by the totally inept Randy Lerner.

I lost all enthusiasm for the club at that point and decided not to renew as enough was enough.

I won't be going back in a long time. They say you have to experience the bad to appreciate the good times, but boy am I not thinking like that.

I'll look out for the results, come on here occassionally, but my love for Aston Villa has come to and end.

Aston Villa, Aston Villa
We'll support you evermore

Interesting to see who bales out when we're not winning

I don't think anyone's bailed out when we're not winning, we haven't been all year.
