;)So we are all just accepting that we will have a new manager in place in the next couple of days based on a post by a fella called Sir Algernon Cockbiscuit

No. I think he is fishing.....

It's gone quiet on the AVB talk lately. Maybe we're getting AVB with Capello as DOF? And OGS was just a smokescreen? ;)

According to a report in Portugal (apparently!) - Andre Villas Boas is keen on the job... Nothing ITK about this, I can't even find the article, I just read about it.

No sign of kendrick today either, id expect randy is on the case as we speak, he will want to get things sorted before returning home id imagine , at the moment its a waiting game.

Yes, imagine this time yesterday he was enigmatically directing us to A-Ha.

Cry Wolf?

My first album bought was take on me, legend

Maybe this is all brinkmanship with Ole, he wasn't offered the job and maybe this was his way of making us sit on the pot and shit  ;)

I feel pretty dissapointed since OGS pulled out the race, I just cant get excited over the thought of Martinez cause his team dont get results till the end of the season so it says to me he can only get them motivated in a dire situation and as somone else said earlier RDM didnt change much at chelsea he just put it back to the way it was with the senior players playing more before villas-boas tried to fix something that wasnt broken. Is that just me been negative tho i wonder?

If that's right we would be mental not to give it to him. He would have cost us £15million last summer.

Sorry - I got too excited and didn't read the next paragraph. And then realised it was a half-truth - probably designed to catch idiots and desperate Villa fans like me out!!

No chance of RDM getting it.  Never in a million years would Randy base this decision on a flukey, undeserved trophy win by a manager with a previously poor reputati... oh, shit.

RDM will have bigger fishes to fry than us if they let him go. As fat bastard Samuel said in the Mail today, Ambramovich would probably have signed him himself this summer given his trophies haul in 6 months. Reckon he'll end up in italy if not given the chelsea gig

Enrique "Quique" Sánchez Flores

Valencia - in 1st season 3rd place, CL place and got to QF stage
 Benefica - Domestic league cup
 A. Madrid - UEFA cup winner

I believes speaks English (?)and more importantly WANTED to manage us last season. Now out in the football wilderness with Ahl Ahli, anyone think he could be a 'Wenger' type inspired choice?

Also fits into the young, vibrant blah blah blah criteria.

Any past losing Managers who have come across as personable to Lerner, could be up for the role.

That was one of the reasons Mc£eish got appointed
