Wilkins or even Steve Clarke for the manager/ coach role - providing we had a suitable middle guy could be interesting.

Heiko Vogel

Likes to use width and seems to have a good passing side......although he looks like Eck!

I had to look up who he was, but he only has six months experience of being manager - is this enough to judge him on? Before that he was an assistant manager, and a youth team coach.

None of the old school for me - the Rainieri's and Ericssons. Will only try and spend and earn cash etc. Need to get Rodgers or Lambert or the next one of that ilk who can develop the footballing side of the club and own it. This will hopefully develop loyalty like Moyes has to Everton. The manager will need to be given a free hand on all footballing matters.
Agree with this.

If we went for Solksjaer, maybe Randy could get a brand new letter of recommendation from Fergie.

Well, it won't be Woy. The FA have called a 4pm press conference and I'm guessing that it's not to inform people that Woy's turned them down!

A crazy appointment but good luck to him. He's going to need all he can get.

Why is it crazy?  Hodgson is a very good coach.

Because I dont think he's good enough to manage England. Or that the gobshites he will be in charge of will take to him.

i think its a good appointment,
at least the FA had the balls this time to go against Harry's media luvies,
i also agree with the English manager being English, Hodgson isnt the best manager in the world but he's the best we got at the moment.

I agree.

I have read a lot of garbage about Redknapp being the "fans choice". However among my mates none of them wanted Redknapp to be the manager. It seems the media think they can pick the manager!

I've no love for Redknapp but he would have been a better choice in my opinion.

Looks to much like BagPuss for my liking!
