I'm sure somebody else has said this, but I really miss Steve Stride.

Your right. The current incumbent really is an embarrassment.

He'll never be forgotten, his name will always be mentioned in Cockney pubs.
'How did you get on with that girl last night? Did you get the Steve Stride?'

Everything great comes from Castle Brom. It's just the way it is....

I wouldn't have last summer, but I'd take Martinez now. I just want to see us try and play entertaining football and he can't be worse than we've had this year. Also if it were a choice between him, Bruce, McCarthy, Pulis and Curbishley it's definitely him. Personally I'd prefer us to look abroad or try and be ambitious and go for AVB, but that won't happen.

It is vitally important whoever it is plays entertaining passing football. We can't put up with another season of this garbage.

Well they reckon Pep Guardiola could jack it in at Barcelona tomorrow. Wonder if he fancies a day out at Peterborough, Millwall and Barnsley for a change.

I've heard he's already studying a dossier on Barry Fry.

Martinez has also proven, year after year now, that he certainly doesn't give up and has a knack of instilling fight into his players at the right time. He wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, but I'd be quite optimistic if he turned up at B6 tomorrow.

Is Hodgson still out of contract in the summer or has he signed a new one?  If he is out of contract, he might not be a bad shout.  He is well versed in Scandanavian football, so we maybe could get Laursen in working under him with the view to succeeding him in a few years and Hodgson moving upstairs.

A Hodgson/Laursen double act is something that I'd be happy enough with.

Why would we want Hodgson? He manages one of our local rivals so we'd never want him would we.
