Twitter is abuzz with rumours of a mystery player at BH today. Rumour has it that it is Stephen M'Bia.

Didn't Ian Robo start this on that never-fucking-quiet Twtter account of his, based on the fact that someone texted him and said they'd seen a car enter BMH "with a black bloke in it who wasn't one of our players"?

I suppose it was inevitable that fucking idiot would be on Twitter.

Aston Villa News and Views headline - "Unknown Player at Bodymoor Heath"

God I follow him on twitter and boy does he tweet a lot of rubbish and it seems to be constant tweeting throughout the day even late into the evening.  Some of the things he says make you wan to pull your hair out too

His tweets are fine except for one tiny aspect. The words.

Which reminded me of:

I cant say I'm buying this cloak and dagger 'player at BMH' thing on the same day the local journos could knocking about for the U21 game :-)

As Makoun has only played about three minutes for us,  if it's him that's rocked up to BH today, maybe we could just register him under a different name to get round the work permit thing? No one really knows what he looks like now anyway.  simples.

As for Makoun, what the hell was the chairman doing sanctioning a deal in the first place if the player wasn't suitable? They constantly whinge about all the spending but still allowed it all?

They cant of predicted that GH was going to heart attack thus leaving the club and then Eck coming in and then sending him out on loan.  When a club signs a player, you never know whats going to happen.  Signing players is always a gamble.

Indeed, damn him for sanctioning the signing of an experienced international midfielder who had played more games in the champions league than the rest of the squad put together, terrible transfer policy...

Here's something that will make you laugh....
I saw an "ITK" account on tweeter tweet that PL was at Wolves yesterday to reignite his interest in.....what for it........KARL HENRY!
This is the same Karl Henry who is shite and has signed a new extended contract this season.

Chipsticks will be happy, he wanted a 'nutter that liked hurting people'

Karl Henry is exactly that

Very good point!  Still 9 days to go before the transfer window closes lets hope the manager gets the players who will improve the squad.

Ye and he scored a "wonder" goal against Real Madrid that eventually knocked them out of the Champions League. What was he thinking .......

The latest post on Ian Robothan's site from an ITK called Mark:

(Refering to the black footballer) "His name is Christian Benteke, 21 year old from Genk, he is a forward and been capped for Belgian u21′s – the other player on his way is Cresswell of Ipswich. The two players will b bought by Randys personal money – no more players coming in till Hutton and Warnock leave the club = FACT"

Kinda hope that's right, I really like the look of cresswell, he'd need time to adjust but he's young enough to let him have a few months before we judge him.

Quick look on google for benteke, looks big and strong, and has a decent scoring record for his age, definitely looks like a player who could do the role Holt had at Norwich.  Watching a few videos he seems to have a knack of finding space in the box, a very very nice trait for a striker.

Exactly what I thought, Paul.

Reading the stories coming out of Belguim, he's very clear in wanting to move to the PL.

He's a good player, huge, powerful but also very good on the ball - kind of what Lukaku was meant to be but hasn't delivered. Certainly the focus of the Belgian national side looks to be more towards Benteke than Lukaku right now, and with good reason. I think there's every chance he'd be a terrific signing - even possibly to play ahead of Bent if/when we go one up front, because that's more his game than Bent's.
