Yes, we're being left behind in the market - so many average teams are now surpassing us with squad depth. Even West Brom have better options to their forward line. I predict we'll struggle this season, again.

Liking Adam or not is beside the point, that's the market we're shopping in these days.

I'm sure our market is bigger than just one overrated, overweight player. And actually our market would suggest that we can't afford Adam anyway. That season at Blackpool, generally Adam would play well, grab a goal or make something and Holloway would then take him off or allow him to drift out the game at 70 minutes when he ran out of energy. To me Adam is a good show pony at a club like Blackpool. But at a decent side, that we're trying to be, he's a liability. With Bannan, Ireland, N'Zogbia already here, with got too many liabilities as it is.
I actually think signing Whittingham would be cheaper and better. Don't think it'll happen in a million years mind you.

Absolutely. We might want some new recruits - but surely they have to be the right ones, and especially (given our recent track record) at the right price.

Jarvis at £10m isn't that ... unless someone has just given us our money back on N'Zogbia or paid double for Albrighton - can't see either happening anytime soon.
