First rule of refereeing: You only give what you see. If you can't see it, you can't give it. Problem is, wankers like Dowd give what they THINK they see rather than what they actually do.

Think back to when Vidic should have gone at Wembley against us and look at Sammons sending off last week. Nothing short of complete and utter incompetence

I remember a few years back in a game against West Ham at Villa Park him giving a penalty against us when the Villa player think it was Delaney or Hendrie had his back to the ball.

That may have been the game at Sunderland when Elleray gave a penalty when the ball hit Delaney on the shoulder blade.

David Elleray - two words guaranteed to get me fuming.  Almost always a controversial decision to our detriment including the one mentioned and the famous Enckelman stepover at Blues under GT mk II.  A Harrow schoolmaster who is said to have always insisted on a match ticket for his "special friend".   Yes male, since you ask.  Whatever, I can't recall us ever winning when he was officiating.

They have all gone down hill since Jack Taylor.
