Doesn't spend time with the players, keeps distance, Culverhouse does all the tactics etc..A few sixth place finishes in a row? Hmm, I could live with that even if he turns out to be a dick.So could I if done without the crippling wage bill and some entertaining football at home.

I was never that enthusiastic about MON and was usually critical after Moscow (I wonder can I still find my posts from that time?) and gave him as much grief as anybody when he walked. But, after that season, it'd be nice to be back chasing the top four. Even if the new man was similar in style to Ol' pube head.
I'd be happy with Lambert. But why would he want to come to Villa?

Quote from: ozzjim on May 13, 2012, 10:11:29 PMDunno, I would prefer more of a tactical thinker, MArtinez or Rodgers would be above Lambert I think. Why on earth would he want the grief? Norwich love him. Houllier was ill but we effectively hounded him out and McLeish is getting the same treatment.
