If anybody thinks that our tosser of a manager will be re-placed by anybody else bfore  next season  then dream on  Lerner has caused this bollox and he will have to live with it. We ARE GOING NO FUCKING WHERE QUICKLY! and that is all that needs to be said. Next season, the same old shite, the same old results, until maybe Christmas time. Then we will be proper fucked! Anybody got a more possitive line on things?

The way they discuss him, he sounds so much like MON markII that it scares me off him a little. Doesn't spend time with the players, keeps distance, Culverhouse does all the tactics etc..

If it works, he could wear a MON wig for all I care.

Dunno, I would prefer more of a tactical thinker, MArtinez or Rodgers would be above Lambert I think.

Rodgers has a huge ego. Seems more like MON than Lambert lol!

I don't mind as long as he has the right combination as an assistant. I've seen Norwich vary their tactics quite a bit this season. I'd be happy with him or Martinez.

I've said before that i'm not 100% convinced by Lambert.

However, I also admit that i'd piggyback him up to B6 from Norwich if it got him in as manager tomorrow. Well next week with how long it would take, male that next month with how unfit I am.

Who are we kidding?

Can't afford to get rid & let's say we do - do we honestly think Lambert is going to come to us after hearing the way we c*nted off McLeish all day today?

Why on earth would he want the grief? Norwich love him. Houllier was ill but we effectively hounded him out and McLeish is getting the same treatment.

Much as I absolutely hate this situation - I think we're stuck with McLeish. God I hope I'm wrong.

I would, if required, come and give you a hand, or shoulder in this case and get the bugger here in half the time (you may be carrying us both by the time we leave East Anglia) if it was a goer, but like you, I am not 100% convinced. He is much younger and hopefully less set in his ways, but I do think we have to accept that he needs his assistant and we HAVE to sort the scouting, or retain Roeder to oversee the scouting side of things.

Houllier and McLeish both brought it on themselves by showing us a complete lack of respect.

Our fans sang his name today. Any manager offered the job now in my opinion should jump. There will be a bit of money, not loads but more than Norwich I am sure, the deadwood can be sold as most are only on 12 months to go, and the fans are dying for anyone other than Eck. Mid table with a few home wins would be heroic next season, and you would have the whole of VP with you. I think if you are at a smaller club at the moment, you should jump at our job.

I took the piss on another thread saying the downward step, it would be a big step up from Norwich, and one that could, if you get it right, lead to the bigger step of a top 3-4 side.

I was with you all the way until the top 3-4 side bit.

It is a fact of life. Even Redknapp was courted by Chelsea a while back, and they are in and around the top 4, so it is wrong to think we won't lose a manager if he comes in and does a great job.

A few sixth place finishes in a row? Hmm, I could live with that even if he turns out to be a dick.

Oh, gotcha, for a moment I thought you were referring to the fact that we could ever be considered as a top 3-4 side. Alas, those days are gone!

So could I if done without the crippling wage bill and some entertaining football at home.
