Assists are a dubious stat. It was a complete mishit of a shot from Iroegbunam, just fell nicely for Gana who hates the Gays.

Danny Ings put a real shift in on Saturday for Sheffield United. Never seen him run and chase down so much.

I sure he meant to play the right footed shot off his left to fool the defender and keeper and play it back to Idrissa.

Bundesliga club Mainz 05 have lost an appeal against a court decision that saw them pay former player Anwar El Ghazi €1.5million (£1.3m; $1.7m) after they were found to have unfairly dismissed him.

El Ghazi had his contract terminated by the club on November 3, 2023 after posting about the Israel-Gaza war on social media.

El Ghazi was initially suspended by Mainz in October of that year for the pro-Palestinian post, with the club describing it as “unacceptable”. His suspension was lifted shortly after and Mainz said that they had warned the player, who had shown “remorse”.

However, El Ghazi said in a subsequent post that he did not “regret” or “distance himself” from his initial words. Mainz then terminated his contract.
