I’m impressed by the knowledge of ex-Villa players above.

Former youth player Ricardo Calder playing for Bracknell Town as they knocked Notts County out of the cup.

Brackley* rather than Bracknell

* ‘Town’ that is, not Brackley of this forum

Nice to see Uncle Albert come on late in Walsall’s 3-0 win at Eastleigh.

Jacob Bedeau was playing for Notts County in that game as well.

Was this the lad we paid £1m for when he was 15?

Yes. I think he might have been a bit older than 15 though. Maybe 17.

In Istanbul for Besiktas-Fenerbahçe derby. Barman a big Fenerbahçe fan, he said he likes Asensio though he's not as good as some Turkish player I've never heard of. He hates Mourinho. Told me that Duran is a good substitute. Sure enough, Asensio equalises and Durán gets the winner off the bench. Our barman tells me he knew Durán was good because he saw his Villa goal against Bayern Munich. So that was nice.

The type of goal only someone like Duran would score.

How did you get your ticket cd? Two weeks ago in Istanbul I was told you have to register on a national database before you can even apply for tickets
