I'm guessing Al-Nassr won the Riyadh deby. https://x.com/jhonduran991/status/1908277695684772351

Ronaldo got two, but Duran wasn't on the scoresheet.

Just had a dead 5 minutes do did a dive into this Baller League bollocks.  I get trying to make the game more ‘street’, but there has to be a better way.

Villa alumni Ciaran Clark & Henri Lansbury appear to be the 2 biggest names amongst a sea of lower level ex-pros & kids.

I don't get why this is on TV.

Even having darts on TV makes more sense, and that's saying something.

Just a more "youth" aimed version of the old Masters football they used to show filmed at the NIA. Difference is instead of lots of old ex-pros walking around slowly, it is younger people.

I've no idea what it is. Once I heard it was called 'Baller League', I knew it wasn't for me.

Chukwuemeka got 20 minutes for Dortmund in their draw away at Bayern.

Probably more fun than getting no minutes at Chelsea.

Congratulations Jed Steer, keeping a clean sheet for the Posh against the great unwashed at Wembley.

Harley Mills. Although he missed the chance to write the wrong of Paul "Tit" Tait's "Shit on the Villa" t-shirt after he scored at Wembley 30 years ago. Come on Harley, where was your "Shit on the City" message?

Only just realised that '95 Auto Windscreen triumph was a golden-goal win for that lot - had the Golden Goal been used much prior? Germany won the Euros the year after that way but I thought that was the first tournament usage of it.

Juventus beat Lecce 2-1 and Douglas Luiz and Freddy Guilbert had plenty of time to reminisce about the 18-19 Villa season from their positions as unused subs for each side.

Tom Heaton was on the bench for ManU yesterday. Still only 38.

You have to wonder about people who would rather be 3/4/5 choice at a glam club than playing regularly for a less glam club.

I can understand it more with Heaton, a year out with a serious injury and heading into his mid 30s, ManU paying a couple of million a year into your retirement fund is very tempting. It's someone like Stuart Taylor making a full career out of rarely playing I wonder about more.
