I seem to recall he played in one of our typically dog's arse of a team selection home FA Cup defeats, against Peterborough, where the whole team stunk the stadium out. He was then judged that he wasn't going to make it, which seemed a bit daft at the time, because he must have only been 19, and I think he was being unfairly compared to Grealish.

Cov have gone from lower mid-table post-hangover from last May's unlikely Play-Off near-miss to now being back in contention for promotion this year. In a division that spits out managers like nowhere else, Mark Robbins has done incredibly well to be their gaffer for so long.

He's 25 and is doing ok in the second tier, nothing more. I don't think we missed out.

Swansea 0-3 under Dean Smith. Near the start of that bad run when Grealish was out for 3 months.

Cal played in both games and did well.

He had a fantastic attitude, never recognised a lost cause.

He had about five times the energy of Lansbury, for those who think he couldn't have got into the team.

Andi Weimann, who hasn't always been as popular at Bristol City as he is presently, is signing for the Tesco Carrier Bags until the end of the season. He's been the captain at Ashton Gate for the last year.

He seems a decent bloke so I wish him all the best. The Stripeys can sink without a trace though. UTV

He can score a hattrick against the noses and then fuck off into obscurity with the rest of his new teammates.

Robert Snodgrass officially now no longer qualifies for this thread.

Crackin' farewell speech, almost as good as his last-gasp goal at Bramall Lane.

It was an awesome night, and the source of a rare pic of me smiling with my mate in the carpark afterwards. That game had 0-0 written all over it and then he did that.

Agreed he was a good player for us and seems to have his head screwed on. Interesting career looking at his post, never spent a long time at any one club seemingly. Suppose he was caught in that bracket of being a top end Championship performer who might not quite be good enough for the Prem. Good luck to him anyway.

Fair play to Bruce. One of his strengths was to recognise and bring in some good loan players. Snoddy was one of the very best of these.

Sadly, under the owners at the time, there was no joined-up thinking as to whether we should try and get transfer options on some of these players to help with continuity.

Mind you, the money had just about run out while some of them were here.
