Surely he was one of the more unforgettable or rather less forgettable.

Yeah, he was one of the better players I've forgotten, certainly.

Not got a bad word to say about James Milner. He was fantastic for us and every other club he played for.

He'd be perfect as player/coach somewhere, a true professional in every way and what an example to set for players.

Scarily, he last played for us more than a decade ago.

De Laet playing for Antwerp v Rangers. In fact, he’s just conceded a penalty.

'Ritchie Ria Alfons De Laet'. Three years, eight games. Legend.

Unlucky with a bad injury, then unlucky not to get picked (well, hardly ever) by Bruce.

Carles Gil with the winner for New England Revolution against Atlanta United. Penalty scored against Brad Guzan.

Steven Davis just absolutely schooled Celtic. Another one who got away. Good for him , another model pro in the mould of Albrighton.

I was amazed last night that Delph is still only 31. And I wouldn't have him back (and I mean for his playing ability).

Seconed to that Fred.  Steven Davis is the heart and soul of that Rangers team.

I wouldn't have the snake back if he paid us!

Absolutely brilliant for him from a playing point of view he's shown like Milner can keep playing and involved to a high standard into 30s twilight's of career.

I read he's out of contract in the summer may or may not be staying on and may or may not be going to Watford as a homecoming.
Good luck to him whatever he does.
Think be a great signing for Watford.

Regardless of what I think of him as a person/character I just think he is very much past his best.

Young's had an amazing career when you compare him to some of the other wide players who emerged around that time e.g David Bentley.

One of those like Crouch who's maximised pretty much every ounce from his career. Talk he'll go to Watford and end his career there now they're up so would imagine he'll get a decent reception at VP next season.
