beaten-girlfriend self-defending
Yeah, murdering beaten-girlfriend self-defending bitch.
I was in the centre of the Trinity and the song was definitely sung. I may be wrong to assume it was Brigada, however, it was only them and the group of kids to their right that were making any noise through the night.
From what I remember back then, weren't the only corroborated reports of domestic violence her attacking him? As well as some of her ex's saying she'd been violent to them as well?
I knew one of her ex-es. She was fine with him and they remained friends. Obviously, that means nothing pertinent, just saying.Still, it was a violent relationship, and I think if she hadn't tried to blag it, and gone self-defence from the start, she'd be out now.
I'm not a fan of the old 'Tracey Andrews is evil' type thing, though I agree the song out of order. Still, I wonder how much offence it really causes? I never heard it from where I was, and I know it. If you don't know it, I doubt you'd pick up on the words.
I find it offensive. And I can just imagine the reaction if the roles were reversed and small heath sang about killing Villa fans. And in a crowd that small and all in fairly small area it's pretty easy to hear the words.
