I was in the centre of the Trinity and the song was definitely sung. I may be wrong to assume it was Brigada, however, it was only them and the group of kids to their right that were making any noise through the night.

She was?  I don't remember reading any of that in the tabloids.

Do you remember reading about what those Liverpool fans got up to at Hillsborough in the tabloids? How did that go?

Is that right ?
If so then that would open a new can of worms.

None of the lads sang it, obviously one of the problems the group face is that people attracted to the atmosphere created tag along, then starting singing shite like the song in question, but I know for a fact the Tracy Andrews song and any others of that ilk haven't and wont ever feature in the Brigada songbook!

From what I remember back then, weren't the only corroborated reports of domestic violence her attacking him? As well as some of her ex's saying she'd been violent to them as well?

I knew one of her ex-es. She was fine with him and they remained friends. Obviously, that means nothing pertinent, just saying. He's passed away now, but she didn't do it.

Still, it was a violent relationship, and I think if she hadn't tried to blag it, and gone self-defence from the start, she'd be out now.

She is out. She was released last year.

Sorry, meant she'd have got a shorter sentence. Is it over 14 years ago then? Wow, time flies.

Anyway, they've both got relatives, so I'm going to leave it. I've got no problem if Mods want to delete anything they see fit.

Final word from me, the song is ridiculous and doesn't do anyone any favours, including The Villa.

I'm not a fan of the old 'Tracey Andrews is evil' type thing, though I agree the song out of order. Still, I wonder how much offence it really causes? I never heard it from where I was, and I know it. If you don't know it, I doubt you'd pick up on the words.

The family and friends of Lee Harvey

I find it offensive. And I can just imagine the reaction if the roles were reversed and small heath sang about killing Villa fans. And in a crowd that small and all in fairly small area it's pretty easy to hear the words.
One fell under Aston Bridge is one of theirs, thankfully its only the small minority of both teams that sing pathetic songs!
