Right the group get a lot of bad publicity, today there was an stand off with guys who obviously don't agree with the group but grabbing 17 yr old lads by the throat is uncalled for. The same two guys who we believe were responsibly for the calls to WM continued to complain about the group even though no flags or banners were restricting their views of the game infact on of the guys claimed that L8 was "his" block.

We are not expecting everyone to be behind us but we expect the right to sing and get behind the boys!

You should have called a steward in to tell the blokes to calm down. Sounds like you have started to develop a relationship with the club and I am sure they would be prepared to listen to you.

Good luck with your support and raising the noise levels.

I thought the Brigada fans kept the support going well yesterday.  They even had the rest of the Holte following a few times.

It would be good if they could try and introduce some new songs as well.

With reference to yesterdays problems. There's an interesting letter in the new issue of H&V from Joe Brewer, which might provide a solution.
Hopefully the Brigada lads, the other season ticket holders in L8 and the club could get together to try and sort things out to the satisfaction of all concerned.

As far as i know it is two guy's that have a problem obviously the guy who throttled one of our younger lads and the guy who sits next to him. The aggressor was intent on trouble as he was he pal who offered various members a fight during the game. It's very apparent these guys dislike the group but everyone else in the block were fantastic and the atmosphere was great.

Credit to the stewards who communicated with the group throughout the game and ensured we could pull of our small display smoothly.

Are they part of the 'firm' or just 2 guys who enjoy silence at a football match? What provoked them to go for members? Anyway keep up the good work.

Well if he's grabbed one of your group by the throat then is that enough to get him stripped of his season ticket? That's before you even go into the threats they were giving out - it looks like one of them acted on it. Hard man going for a kid. Report him to the club.

If it is these two, and only these two who are complaining about your group then they're on a sticky wicket.

Hard to say anything without knowing both sides of the story. Maybe the 17yo got gobby. Maybe other members of the group did. Maybe the 2 blokes are twunts. But we shouldn't be basing replies on one point of view.

Agreed, but if there's a grievance then going to the club is the best thing to do before anything really bad happens.

Have you moved to the other side of the Holte then?

You were in L1 last year weren't you?

JJ - Yeah moved over to L8 as L1 was out of the way.

ITBR - Roughly about 20 sub paying members.
