Wouldnt work we need possibly till 1/2 o'clock obviously the Ad's would be filling up by then, ideally a pub that has a function room that is unused

Yes, if you're taking it literally, but with specific reference to today's news? How was he supposed to know that last week?

Maybe I'm missing something, but it just struck me as somewhat harsh.
