give us an area that is more conducive to tifos

Whats that mean then?

Tifo's are displays by Ultras this is one by the Holmesdale Fanatics (Crystal Palace) for Speroni reaching a landmark amount of appearances

As much as I wish you fellas well and like a good sing song I don't think I'll ever get my head round copying the likes of Crystal fucking Palace and the Italians, we're Villa, they should be copying us. Obv not the sycronised moaning about having to move your legs for two fucking seconds to let someone by or when the possession is kept rather than hoofed somewhere north of Bransons balloon.

The group isn't copying Palace or the Italians the Ultras movement is and has been for a long time worldwide. Obviously we understand that not everyone will be into the scene but we hope that people understand that our aim is too bring back atmosphere back to VP.

I don't know where you sit but in the Lower Holte you have to stand up to let someone by then they normally tread on your toes, knock your drink over all topped off with a nice beery whiff of "Sorry mate" repeat atleast 10 times over 90 minutes.

I was sort of expecting you to move to somewhere more central. But when you said L8 I can see your thinking, isn't that the area the club are looking at to use in any experiment for safe standing?  Did you have any contact with the club about the move?
Right next to the Trinity too, you might get them stamping their feet again. ;)
Any chance of getting the stewards from L1 to transfer too?  At least they know you and know what you are about. :)

I think you tend to get a lot of families in the central blocks so probably wouldn't work best for us, the most important thing is getting out of L1 although it's been enjoyable there we were out of sight now and next season we want to do a lot more visual stuff and as mentioned in the announcement we firmly believe that L8 will help us pull this off.

The point about the stewards is spot on and it would be great if that happened we just have to hope that we get a similar response from the ones in our new home.

TBH i don't recall anyone mentioning the safe standing experiment when choosing the L8.

My neighbour is a die-hard Millwall fan and he was telling me about Palace's visit to the Den this season.

Normally Millwall spend most of the games against Palace taking the piss out of their support and laughing at them while the Palace fans usually try not to draw any attention to themselves but this season he told me that Palace created a fantastic atmosphere. It must take something special to get any sort of acknowledgement from Millwall fans.

I still hate Palace though - and I've never seen Villa win at Selhurst Park

I was impressed with the atmospere at Palace when we went there 2 years ago in the FA Cup. They were never a club who's support registered much with me before that, but that bottom corner to our left never shut up.

That was my first away game on an official coach - took forever to get there, missed the first goal (Dessa Mountfield?), played in the white/black kit & all round great day for a 12 year old.

Hated every visit since!

What ever the thoughts of there team, there group are doing very well for them selves, players have been with them  pre match/during they've even been on the pitch to present a player of the season trophy from themselves.

Be good to see quite a few more relocating to L8.
