I agree. It was a good article in the new H&V.

Am I in a minority of one by asking that the crowd gives it to McLeish, loud and large for 90 minutes against Chelsea next week?  The players tell us that it affects them, yes I understand that, but they deserve some stick too for being overpaid pansies.  Petrov should have been shot for that non-tackle yesterday for Arsenal's goal, they deserve a roasting.  Everyone at Villa is letting down the fans at present.  I have never known such a boring and pointless season as this.  Even when Billy McNeill was in charge and I followed them al over the country, the football was better to watch.

Personally I'd rather support my team.

And I'd normally agree and have never boo'd whilst watching Villa myself, but unless there is a concerted effort against McLeish, inside the ground, rather a few fans doing it before the game when no one is watching, they won't listen.

1986/7, what was good about losing at home to arse 4-0, to norwich 4-1, to spurs 3-0, and away 6-0 at forest, 5-0 away to southampton the list goes on and on many more 3-0's we were a hell of a lot worse then and we still supported our team as you say you did, we are still here today, lets get behind the boys.

Well said, 86/87 was the most dire season in memory. That saints 5-0 away, we were 2 down in 5mins and it could have been 3..We were pathectic and abysmal..its a good job, the internet werent around then!!!!!

The season isn't over yet. And then there is next season under the Ginja Genius, whatever division we may find ourselves in. We could be longing for the days when we only lost 3-0 away at Doncaster under the other football Einstein we had here.

For some reason i thought this was a thread about BRIGADA1874, and as far as i am aware they are a group that is up for SUPPORTING 100% the team AVFC during games, not another boring thread about how negative/rubbish/ginger AMc is.

My neighbour is a die-hard Millwall fan and he was telling me about Palace's visit to the Den this season.

Normally Millwall spend most of the games against Palace taking the piss out of their support and laughing at them while the Palace fans usually try not to draw any attention to themselves but this season he told me that Palace created a fantastic atmosphere. It must take something special to get any sort of acknowledgement from Millwall fans.

I still hate Palace though - and I've never seen Villa win at Selhurst Park

Charlton 1990.

I was at that one.

Didn't we win 2-0?

Missed the first 20 minutes of it.

Cheers in advance

A quick call to the club now and I'm sure they'll be accomodating.

Assuming it's to do a Petrov display, maybe ask the club?

Too much generally going on at VP on match day, ideally a pub function room or even a car park will do

Yeah we wanna do something for Stan
