Forget this protest lark and think about sort of questions if asked he would not be able to answer and  thus fail his interview.I will start with:

Well Alex tell us how you will get the team  to score on  average more than 1 goal per game?

Well said Mark, I've never been more embarassed to be a Villa supporter. Risso, 'the shambles that Lerner seems intent on turning the club into?' Please

Supporting Aston Villa  football Club  is an honour and a privilege. I will not turn up at the protest but as this is all about passion I respect those who will express their passion by showing discontent.
Bravo and good luck.

I agree in, but am worried that it will give the media a chance to point and laugh, and won't have that much effect on the board's decision.

Blah blah blah, small time, small time, small time I wish people would stop fucking saying that. I really couldn't give a fuck what the cockney meeja think.  And if anything the the fucking board who have made us look 'small time'.

Thing is that it's not the 'cockney media' saying it's small time, it's other Villa fans. About 50 people will turn up tomorrow, you watch, and that's 50 too bloody many. When life gives you lemons, eat your fucking lemons. We'll be back again, the owners know the pitfalls, and if they don't now, then 12 months of McLeish will educate them.

Can we change the thread title to 'Drama Queens of the World - Unite!'.

Tossers.
If people aren't happy then let them make it known.  At least they're being proactive unlike most the 'tossers' on here who will moan about how outrageous this is but would rather sit on their arse.

It's so bloody small time it's something I couldn't even imagine the Kuckledraggers doing. The lengths some people will go to be on TV... totally embarrassing. Proactive my arse.
Man U fans protest.  Are they small time?  Last I knew they were in the top 5 biggest clubs in the world.

So bloody small time, like the club we support appointing Alex Mcleish. Quite apt then really.

I was offered a lift down to this protest tomorrow a bit earlier on, which i've declined, but i've not got a problem with it. If it does any good, then so be it.

The thing is, people aren't happy and want some way to vent that.  If a protest is what they feel is the best thing then go for it.  There's a lot of very condescending posts on this thread making out that anyone who wants to protest or who thinks it's worth doing is embarrassing and worse than the geordies.

Will it do any good, probably not but if 50, 100 or 10000 people think it's worth doing to show we're not impressed then let them get on with it without treating them like naughty children.

Lets face it there will be, maybe, 40-50 people there tops, mainly incoherent from their tumultuous rage! Talksport will cream their cocoa over it, but it will all be forgotten when Chelsea get their new man or Citeh sign the first £100m player! We'll go back to being over looked and in the shadows, where I prefer us to be honest!

I can sympathise but people need to think what's best for the club. If the club decide to hire McLeish then it's best for all concerned that we get behind the manager (however wrong we think the decision and the decision making process was)

The Geordies have turned ridiculous protests into an art form and we are in danger of surpassing them tomorrow. Do you honestly think the national media will treat the protester's viewpoint with respect or will they use it as another excuse for a spot of brummie bashing?
