Why are Radio WM being so pro-Eck to Villa? This is ridiculous.

Just seen that!! What is that about!!!

Paul Franks, what a prick. So desperate to see McCleish take over at Villa. He's even bullshitted live on Midlands Today saying that most Villa fans ringing in are pro McCleish. An absolute joke.

The callers they've picked are actually Villa fans (supposedly) who are saying they don't mind if Eck gets appointed. Clearly trying to stir it up.

There is of course the possibility that WM filtered the calls to give the impression that Villa fans would take big Feck

If he played attractive football and signed good players I'd be ok as not really fussed about the Blues link.

I agree. The Blues link is not the problem. The football is.

As if any media outlet would be that duplicitous.

I can't cope. There can't have been many better times to appoint a manager and we're contacting Blues and winding them up about stealing there piece of shit manager off them?

My Man U supporting mate rang me yesterday and even he was raging on our behalf.

I still have faith that Randy wont appoint mcleish and will get us someone decent, but someone at the club needs to get a grip on our PR and quickly.

He's brilliant at organising a defence.

We've got the best goal-scorer in the country, Albrighton who offers adventure down one side and N'Zogbia is available who McLeish rates.

Apart from that? Nothing.

Absolutely right, it's not about him being from Blues, it's about him being shit.

If we were talking about signing Roger Johnson and Scott Dann, I'd be happy to steal their best players. Taking a manager off their hands who has relegated them twice is another thing entirely.

Maybe BBC WM should be directed to the poll on here.

I find it hard to believe that the equivalent % could not be applied to the 35,000 people in VP every other Saturday.

McLeish would only have to drop the ball once and he'd get so much abuse. Our club does not need to make a controversial managerial signing like this. It would be a foolish move from Faulkner & Lerner if this happened.

Fingers crossed it will not.

I am massively against him. If he played attractive football and signed good players I'd be ok as not really fussed about the Blues link.

Then he wouldn't have managed Small Heath!

I think we need to see this alleged email from Villa to Peter Pannu really. If it was sent by someone calling themselves "Hugh Jass", and contains the word "lol" several times then we should be ok.

37 goals last season. Shocking. The total opposite to passing football that GED tries to play. Fucking disgrace. Faulkner needs sorting out.
