We can but hope.If we'd got Champions League football I could see it happening but we dont and he pretty much left in the hope of better things. Even if he leaves Man City he'll have a pick of other top clubs I think. But, if you dont ask, you dont get.He certainly knows he's loved here and that might amount to... something. Is this a Boyzone song? No, Cannibal Corpse. If I had to use a cannibal corpse song to describe Milner leaving I'd use guttedif I had to use a song to describe him coming back i'd use Wretched spawn.Fuck him

I remember he came back in late 2000, just after we'd had the ''£'' protest signs and just before John Paul Angel's arrival. Actually, just looking at Wiki, he played 73 matches for us in his second spell and left in the summer of '03 (when his Rep of Ireland mucker Dolly O'Dreary had just taken over). I'm a bit surprised he was here that long and played that much second-time round as I don't recall much of his performances.
If James Milner came back he could move straight back into his old house, its been empty ever since three large removal vans arrived a couple of days after his move to Man City was finalised.Theres still a set of half size goalposts in the garden too.He lived about 20 doors down the road from me. But before you all think I'm on millionaires row, that was 19 doors of 3 bed semis then 1/2 mile out into the country to his rather larger pad.
Ugh..dunno what's worse. The clamour for Lee Evan's son to come back or quoting an Embrace song in full.
City boss Roberto Mancini wants to break the bank to land Tottenham star Gareth Bale in a deal worth £30m, plus the club's England midfielder James Milner.
