He is what we need, but fuck him. He wanted to go there, let him stay there & rot.
YES

Just to throw in a snippet. Apparently recently sold his house near Sutton.

Nobody in there yet, its just down the road from me. (see my earlier post).
I go past it nearly every day and will keep an eye out.

I'll be outside his house in Manchester, with my 80's ghetto blaster aloft above my head, Matt Monroe's To Dream the Impossible Dream blasting out (I can't remember the music playing in the film) waiting for our Jimmy to appear at the window.

After watching his performance last night where he was excellent it's clear he's going absolutley nowhere.

I agree, from what I saw of the game he looked very much like he was back to his best.

Not sure, now they are in the CL, they will be after more higher quality players. They already have a big squad so some will get squeezed out. A long summer ahead...

Heard a rumour Man City were going to offer him to Spurs in exchange for Gareth Bale.

Higher quality players? He's an established international. Why on earth would he take a massive pay cut to come back here when he can play in the Champions league next year?

Because he might not play in the Champions League next year. If he's not in their 25, he wont play.
Not that he wouldn't have better offers than here.

He hasnt been a fixture for them this year and they will no doubt go and buy even better players so it's the law of the footballing jungle. He'll play even less next season or not at all. Ridiculous, I know. But quite possible.

''Established international''? The odd sub appearance and he rarely starts for England (or Citeh).

This is what Man City are creating, which is ruining football, all these players earning mega-bucks for sitting on their backsides! I really haven't got any time at all for Man City and any of the players there!
