When did the Bears sign Chanderpaul, his picture isn't even on the website?

Mid July and he came over after the Windies - India series and made his debut earlier this month.

167 no overnight against the Tykes as well!

So Keith Barker is the new Chris Woakes then.

There better be someone coming through as the new Keith Barker.

Why or why couldn't they have beaten Hants?  I think we'll live to regret that capitulation.

That eight fucking point deduction on a pitch where Warwickshire managed to score loads of runs but some sneaky fucking journalist reported the pitch is going to cost us the title you know.

It was a shocking pitch though.  We scored runs because the Worcs attack was so shite they couldn't exploit the uneven bounce; once we bowled on it people we getting hit right left and centre.

Maybe but it was the same pitch for both teams and it was made worse by Rhodes the weasel bleating to the press about it

I'm not sure saying 'It was dangerous for both teams' is much of a defence, to be fair.  You're right about Rhodes though: he worked himself up into a right old state about it.  The weird thing for me was that the umpires didn't report it; they were more or less the only people in the stadium who didn't see anything out of the ordinary.  Once the pitch inspector got there and had a look he called it a shocker straight away.

Thats the issue for me as the umpires were responsible for the game and its up to them to decide if the conditions are unfair/poor yet as you say they must have thought it was ok as the did not report it to Lords

And now the Pears play both Lancashire and Durham so have a say in the title's outcome...  I'd still settle for the games we have left - Yorkshire at home and Hampshire
Fair dos to Giles for getting in Wright and Chanderpaul. And credit to Barker, who's looked good this season when I've seen him
