Maybe but it was the same pitch for both teams and it was made worse by Rhodes the weasel bleating to the press about it

You're right about Rhodes though: he worked himself up into a right old state about it. The weird thing for me was that the umpires didn't report it; they were more or less the only people in the stadium who didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Once the pitch inspector got there and had a look he called it a shocker straight away.
