Hoping the Pears can do a reversal of the game at New Road a few weeks back but there has been no evidence this season of batsmen getting their head down and getting a big score

There may be some excuse for our batting if the wicket really was suspect. However, from where I was sitting it seemed that we were guilty of our familiar failings, e.g. Cameron, Solanki and Pardoe getting out when they were seeing the ball well. Moeen batted for almost 100 balls for 19 and then got out. It must also be said that Metters bowled well. Scott looked good and is still in, but even if he helps us to avoid the follow-on I can't see any result other than a win for the Bears and a 5th defeat out of 5 for the Pears.
Jusr been tweeted by Mike Taylor of WM that the ECB have confirmed an 8 point deduction for the Bears because of a substandard pitch.
http://www.edgbaston.com/news/press-statement/Rumour has it Rebel (Rouse) has been sacked. Nothing confirmed.
Further to the above, will the ECB ever report a pitch where it's fucking impossible to take a wicket? Both sides scoring 600+ does not make a match. A bad pitch might be dangerous, but the opposite is a good way to kill cricket as a sport.
