As far as beverages go yes, you can only purchase Coke products, ie Coca Cola, Sprite & Powerade, beer was Heineken, there was a cider as well, sweets & treats, Cadburys stuff only, same for ice-cream, Cadbury 99 Flakes only.Food in venues varies venue by venue, at Excel the main concourse vendors that are permananet are open serving whatever food they have so the myth re McDonalds only is just that, a myth. The food court inside the specific venues are temporary just for the Games, at Excel the chice was pre packaged sandwiches from stand 1, baked potatoes from stand 2 or noodles at stand 3 all served with a Coke product, Heineken or a cider and any ice cream you like as long as it was a Cadbury 99 Flake.I can live with the limited range, the quality & standard of the food was shambolic.
