Perhaps he just got too big for his boots at Sky and they've used this as a convenient excuse to get rid of him?
It's a shame because he's easily their best pundit, and no one comes close to him on Sky. I wonder what he'll do now, because I can't see other media outfits touching for a while. Perhaps he'll put his money where his mouth is and finally become a manager.
