MON signed Harewood, Beye and Shorey. But he also bought Dunne, Milner, Young, Friedel and Collins.

The only good Houllier signings I can think of, is Hyypiä, Hamann and McAllister, while there is an almost endless list of shite signings (Cheyrou, Diouf, Diao, Ziege ...).

I'd say Houllier's record is worse than MON's.

I wouldn't, Houllier won trophies at Liverpool.

Furthermore, Diouf is a good player but is mentally challenged; Ziege had injury problems; Diao was signed on the back of a great WC. You are also forgetting one or two other players such as Babbel for instance who was a very good player for them.

I meant transfer record. Overall, Houllier is probably a better manager than MON.
