Keeps the Quieroz fire burning nicely, keeps Klinsmann in the running too.

The General just clarified it's premier league experience rather than management experience, which opens up options.

Would this "people who have managed in the PL" thing exclude someone like Querioz, who has not managed in the Premier League, but has decent experience in it?
I would hope so. Randy was sitting next to football's Mr Fix-it Keith Harris, who apart from possibly being one of the Club's advisors, if a Man Utd fan. I would trust that the Club are aware of Quieroz's current situation with the Portuguese national side.

Mark, what do you make of this?

1.  I think it is important for a Manager to be familiar with the PL because in many ways it differs from other leagues.  I do not intend to say that they have had to managed in the PL but that they be familiar with it.
I'm saying nothing more until I've been down the bookies. (winky)

It's all starting to take shape. There was no panic after MON did one, there was no panic after the Newcastle and Rapid Vienna defeats, a hard fought one nil win against a rival today and suddenly we have two weeks to find THE man to take us on.

I for one am quite content tonight. Sven or Klinsmann I reckon.... I don't think the Houllier rumour has any foundation and unfortunately for us we probably can't get Moyes or Jol.

That said, Sky did show Randy and Moyes greeting each other with a hearty handshake at VP today!

I'd suggest any manager and a few others who have managed in Europe fits the latest clarification. I'm sure they are all aware of the PL:)
Puts hope of a real manager back into the equation mind.

Well maybe now would be the time to go all out for Moyes, Everton are in the bottom three with 1 point and we're in the top 4 with 6, that's 5 free points for Moyes for a short trip down the M6!

Not happy with premier league management experience requirement. What if there is an ex premier league player won the title in Germany and Portugal league as a manager want a job.I would like to see a manager have managed more than 2 countries. Get the like of Guus Hiddick, Jose Mourinho, Sven Goran Erikkson instead of Paul Hart and co.

I want a Wenger type appointment.

French prick?

Why don't you apply? You seem fully qualified.
