I do wonder how their foreign stars will react to a having a more pragmatic English manager?

Fergie doesn't seem to play the mind games with MON.
Could be the bloke to put Redscouse back on the map..............Would have preferred him take the England job

He managed Inter for a couple of years then flopped at Blackburn. He's won some Scandanavian championships and trophies. The guy has had 16 (sixteen) jobs in 30 years. Doesn't that tell you something?A decent cup run with a mediocre side and he's the second coming.
This is the first time I dont wish him well. I hope they plummet out of the league. After they did, I would feel sympathy for him though.
Roy Hodgson is considering making a move for Aston Villa winger Ashley Young as he sets about improving the Liverpool squad following his appointment at Anfield last week.Reports over the weekend suggest England international Young is among the former Fulham manager’s first targets in the transfer market after he admitted he wants to buy English players with UEFA’s new ‘homegrown’ rules coming into force from August.
Managing Milan was some job on any cv, for such a poorly rated man them

He seems to have been relatively successful in most of his jobs.
