I think that we now need to decide what to do with Milner either accept the bid or not, I am getting so fed up of will he, wont he,  have we not got a Manager who can make a decision instead of this constant dithering during each transfer window.

A little unfair that as we have decided - we've turned down the bid!  From there it's all press speculation about increased bids, which are given extra credence too as Milner was off at the world cup and now on holiday, so we haven't bene able to try and get him on a new deal.

In this part at least, we can't blame MON for dithering!

I'm starting to get the feeling that we're waiting for the milner situation to be sorted out. Obviously if we sell him, MON choice of targets and their price range may increase

I've never bought into the "sell to buy" thing, but I am increasingly starting to worry Mr Woodhall is right and, in fact, we really do need the Milner money to go out and start signing.

Its not rocket science, we should be used to it by now. Are we going to sign anyone?
Absoloutly, but it will be in the last few days of the window. Regardless of the Milner situation, it's MON's style.
It is frustrating, but at he same time, i'm glad our club follows the old saying-
'Tell the world-but show them first.
Will it be who we want, maybe not exactly but i'm sure it will be ok. But then again I am a believer.

I console myself with the thought that not many other clubs are doing business ATM, and there aren't many players we realistically could have attracted that we've missed out on.

Eduardo maybe. At £6 million I might have been prepared to take a punt.

And I have a feeling if Jol rocks up at Fulham the Keane > Fulham rumours might have a bit more merit.

There probably is a degree of truth in our business being dependant on how the land lies re Milner. But only in so far as we're waiting to see what players become available in the chain that will inevitably follow his departure, or what players we sign to continue building a squad around him.

It may be mons style but it's not a good policy , players should have a pre season with a new club and get used to their new teammates rather than arriving after the season starts, I understand fans frustrations totally and it does nothing to enhance ticket sales either.

How long is milner on holiday?cole and gerrard are back at Liverpool and this needs sorting out with a clear decision- he stays or goes but let's get on with things!

This penny pinching and dithering is the reason why we are falling behind our competitors , for god sake let's show some ambition and end the constant silence around the club.

I am beginning to get the feeling maybe randy is losing interest and feels he's taken us as far as he can and mon maybe feels the same way- I hope I'm wrong!

I think it's more likely that what we do will be influenced by wheter or not we need to replace Milner. Clearly we should have more to spend if he goes but I don't think it's the only money we've got.

To be honest holidays don't come into it. A player will be more than pleased to conclude a deal whilst on holiday and let his agent deal with the paperwork. cole for example, met Liverpool while he was on his holiday
