That Chicago game was a cracker!

Anyway, here's hoping Tony Romo and his fellow circus acts somehow gel together as a team and give the Eagles a whipping on their patch!  [-o<

With the Cowboys "December record" I won't hold my breath though!

Tony Romo is the new Brett Favre, everyone seems to love him, but he just isn't that good...

I wouldn't say everyone loves Romo.

What I would say is he's still actually a relative newcomer in terms of NFL starts but often his stats, esp at this time of the season, don't look so good. Trouble is, when you get a contract like he got, people want instant results.

Sometimes against the pass rush the Cowboys D have been like statues - the Ravens game being a case in point where he got a battering.

The Eagles game is huge for him. Playing in a stadium full of fans who want the Cowboys to fail more than most and trying to keep the circus ship afloat at the same time. Not easy. I'd take a scrappy win right now!

Romo is on a team that has not won a playoff game in 12 years.

He is a newcomer, but he is almost considered a "savior" of sorts.

He is slightly better than mediocore at best, much like Brett Favre, and the media LOVE him just like they love Brett Favre.

Even if they beat the Eagles, and do well in the playoffs (which I doubt they will), it won't be because of Romo, it will probably be more or less in spite of Tony Romo...

I like the guy, he seems like a good guy.  Takes homeless guys to the movies, changes peoples tires on the highway... etc etc etc...

But I can't get the image of him dropping snaps in the endzone out of my head...

I still cant believe it.

It's 4:30 am here and I can't sleep at all...

I am TOO excited still.

First Oakland Wins (stipulation #1)

Then the texans actually win (stipulation #2)

Then the eagles dont just win, but KILL the Tony Romo and the cowboys

WOW

Romo=Favre

I am still in disbelief.
Still haven't slept...

that win may be my number 2 sports moment of the year.

1)Villa: Young's 2nd goal against Everton
2)Eagles:  KILLING THE COWBOYS
3)Eagles: Beating the giants

grumble grumble - there's always next year, we didn't want to make the play-offs and wanted a better draft pick, grumble grumble  ](*,)

I don't want the Colts, Dolphins or the Vikings to win. Glad that the Cowboys and the Patriots didn't make it.

The Eagles didn't "kill" anybody - I think you'll find the Cowboys managed to kill themselves quite easily.

A team of old age pensioners with various joint problems would have put 44 points on that sorry excuse for a team.

yes they did.  They killed the cowboys.  They beat up Romo all day, and every time Owens was about to get the ball he heard footsteps.

anything is possible, but I doubt that the chargers can make the big dance.

I would say TN or Pitt from the AFC

and the EAGLES in the NFC!!!

(no, seriously, I would say Pitt vs. the Giants, Giants by 6)

Interesting that for the whole season the NFC has been seen as stronger but for me the AFC looks a lot better for me now.
4 teams with genuine superbowl chances I reckon. Even with a rookie QB, the ravens look to have a defense good enough for a shout.
Nice to see the Colts and peyton put in their place on saturday, and that was without LT.

Im gonna say Giants, chargers, giants by 4

not a bad call, Rivers looks REALLY good all of a sudden, and I think it would be cool to see him beat up Eli Manning.

That would mean that manning, Roe3thlensburgzzer and Rivers all won Superbowls.

(But I am still hoping the eagles win...)
