Bears win + packers defeat = happy days! Now on a more serious note how do i put off getting engaged to my girlfriend?

That's a great thread in the making.

A mate of mine is currently trying to move out from his girlfriend's place whilst still retaining RPP ("rumpy pumpy privileges")

In the top College Football game of the week Texas Tech upset Texas

For those who keep an eye out for the results of the Cleveland Villa, Brady Quinn has been named starting Quarterback

Decent thread this

I work in American Sports so naturally follow them pretty closely.

Interesting that Quinn should be thrown in this week. Cleveland matches up very well against Denver and he'll have one of the softest defenses in the league to start on. Lewis should see plenty of touches against a very light defensive front which should open the playaction for Brady.

Broncos were dire against Miami and really shouldn't pose much of a challenge.

Just finished watching last night's MNF on Gamepass, great display by the Steelers. I have them as my main bet for the Superbowl from earliy in the season; I'd lost confidence in weaks gone by with that porous O-line but a terrific effort to win in an NFC East stadium this year.

If they can keep Ben on his feet most of the game they're a real threat in the AFC.

I managed to keep watching until 2am, before conceding defeat. At that point the Redskins were 6-0 up! Should just tape the games really, rather than going into work looking like death, but somehow it's not the same

Steelers are the #1 defence for a reason.   Brilliant display from the black and gold....

Wish that was my gym. Then again, I'd probably drop the bar if they walked in. Also, the term 'repetitive strain injury' springs to mind.

F*cking local people round here have been to it. What is wrong with them?

NFL= 20 minutes of action, 4 hours of nachos. It's pussy's rugby. Man up FFS.

so why post on an NFL thread if it offends you that much?

I have to agree...

Rugby is nothing like football to make that comparison.  To say that it is, proves that you now nothing of either game and are ignorant to football.

If you don't like it, don't post on it.

I have to say that American Football is my favorite sport just above your football (our soccer) at number two.

Lower Tier, Endzone, block 108, row 43.
They're £80 tickets & they include tickets to the official "tailgate party"

I've got tickets to that this year. Is it worth going ?

guys, I have to be honest with you.  The official "Tailgate Parties" are always kind of lame.

Your best bet is to grab a six pack, or a couple of 22's and get to the paring lot about 2 or 3 hours early and just walk the lot.  People are going to be cool, give you free food, free beer and just get wasted.

yeah?

My eagles looked like the number one defense when they sacked big ben 9 times in the whalloping they gave the steelers!

The Steelers aren't that good.

They may be one of the better teams in the HORRIBLE AFC, but they aren't a solid team.

It's like winning the special olympics playing in the AFC.

(sorry for all my posts in a row, I never saw this thread before!)
