Not that arsed about today's defeat. We aren't making the playoffs anyway, and I worry that a decent run until the end of the season would convince our idiotic owners to give Eberflus another year, like last time.

Yes I gather that Williams playing well in defeat is seen as the preferred scenario right now. It's a funny old game.

I know we don’t talk about it too much on here but absolutely loving the carnage in College Football this year. Anything that sees those self entitled pricks from Alabama lose 3 games is a good thing.

The move to the 12 team playoff system has been excellent. So many more games have something on them now towards the end of the season

It still seems mental that teams get to choose their opponents and so you have loads of games where a team wins by more than fifty points. The game is crying out for promotion and relegation.

I’d agree with this but it’s only 3 or 4 of the 12 regular season games depending on your conference. That said I think there’s some ruling coming in soon that at least one of your non conference games has to be against someone from a similar strength conference but I may have made that up. Anyway the shift to a 12 team play off and the major conference realignment has made it tougher and there are now more regular big games between the better sides. American sports 🙄

90 years ago today, the New York Giants beat the Chicago Bears 30-13 in the 'Sneakers Game'.

Speaking of the Bears you could probably make a nice drinking game out of them - whenever Redzone cuts to a Bears 3rd down, take a drink if the next thing that happens is Caleb Williams getting sacked. You'd get hammered though.
