Brady joins Tampa Bay.

I don't get it.

Aging right-wingers yearn for Florida or Arizona.

That might just be it.

Seeing the Packers pick a QB with their first pick was a bit more of a surprise. It was generally expected that a WR would be top of their list of priorities to give Rodgers more weapons.

He will be a Hall of Famer. It is written in the stars that Green Bay never have to experience having a shit quarter-back.

Not least of all to Aaron Rodgers, by all accounts.

The Packers have previous with this. They drafted Rodgers when the still had Favre. That worked out OK

Bit late but RIP Don Shula. I never really liked the Dolphins when he was in charge (I always preferred the Bills) but fair play to the bloke. Two losing seasons in over 30 years is hugely impressive and the more time passes the more it seems the perfect season will never be done again.

I think a perfect season has got more likely due to the playoff changes meaning that only the number one seed now get a bye. That, in turn, means that fourteen and even fifteen win teams without a loss are more likely to have to keep playing their starters. I doubt it will be a regular occurrence but reckon we will see another unbeaten season by 2050. Prediction: it will be a team I hate, just to piss me off.

Packers perfect season with their new MVP quarterback incoming in next few years!

Joking aside, I agree the changes might have an impact (I hadn't considered them when making my comment to be fair) but most of the time being 14-0 and pretty much all the time being 15-0 will already have secured you top seed.

NFL stadiums are ridiculously OTT when you consider the lack of games played in them
