Never heard of Clemson. I'll hope Michigan win as they're from one of the decent, anti-slavery states.

It's Michigan State not Michigan. Don't be getting those too mixed up if ever you're in that area :)

Clemson were very good in the 1980s but have only really be contending again for the past couple of years.

I was at their game @ Boston College back in 2006. A double overtime classic.

The highlights are on YT

Wild one between the Jags and Titans, including an 87 yard TD run by Marcus Mariota

FFS Bears. Totally Villad that up. Playoffs gone. What the fuck has happened to Robbie Gould?  He used to never miss.

I was watching, too. The Bears did everything conceivable to shoot themselves in the foot. Gould missing a straightforward field goal was the icing on the shitcake.

College Football semi final lineup

Clemson v Oklahoma

Alabama v Michigan State

Tigers v Sooners should,be good as Sooners have come on leaps and bounds since Clemson stuffed them in their bowl game last year.

The Pats have now dropped into a tie with the Broncos for the best record in the AFC.

If the two were to meet in the Championship game, it would be in Denver

Actually, the Bengals have a better record than either. The Patriots silly giveaways last night may just have cost us a bye. Hopefully everyone (except Lewis) will be fit again once we've limped into the play-offs - still need one more win to be sure.

The Bungles have the same record as the Pats and Broncos. They've snuck up on me a bit and I clean forgot about therm in my earlier post.

I watched the Pats highlights earlier. When will Billy B accept that we know he's the smartest guy in the room and quit trying to prove it with unnecessary trick plays.
Having said that, the pass to Brady was a great play

I can see why Bill went for the onside kick - kill the game stone dead before half-time - but it seemed too risky to me, handed the Eagles some confidence when they had none, I'd rather have seen Bradford back on the 20 and clueless again.

And our special teams have been magnificent for the last two years, so if that was them getting all their clangers out in one game, I'll live with it.

Really worried about our offensive line now. Brady spent most of the game on his arse and JJ Watt is next up...

This is great though http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/0ap3000000595953/Brady-shows-off-his-combine-speed

Yeah, and they have the best AFC record, so they're 1st, Broncos 2nd and Pats 3rd. The good news for the Patriots is that the Bengals and Broncos have to play one another in week 16.

I went to the Patriots game yesterday, my first ever NFL game. Never shown any interest before but I did enjoy the experience although I only vaguely new what was going on. Having, obviously, not seen Villa win at home surely this was a home banker? But no, think the Villa curse followed me over, well at least the calamitous errors did.
Great to see such a well behaved crowd even though some were clearly pissed. It's a great spectacle but it did seem odd to me that the fans needed telling to make some noise. Seemed to lack the passion of our football clubs supporters but, then again, it didn't seem to me that the fans were that upset that they had lost. I was fascinated by the fields of pre-game tailgaters, can't see me having a BBQ out the back of my car in Perry Barr!

If the Steelers defense can find any kind of form, their offense can outscore anyone in the AFC.   Last night was a good start..........
