Good. Shocking with the attendances they get, and the money they make, that universities can't even compensate players when they get career-ending injuries. As they risk life and limb for their colleges, I reckon they should be paid a wage. Not an NFL-size package, obviously, but give them something anyway.

I know that I sometimes go over the top with my analogues regarding NCAA Football and Basketball but what these multi-billion dollar industries get away with is incredible.

The Universities are rolling in money and yet if a player receives any benefits (not just money, even a free tattoo from a fan can cause trouble) they can be suspended and (because there's nowhere else for them to play) have their chances of a professional career reduced.

Eagles release DeSean Jackson.

Apparently for "off field" reasons

So naturally he will end up at the Jets.

It was 30 years ago tonight that the Colts left Baltimore.

I remember this well.

UKR Sr. was working in Rochester, NY at the time and phoned home to tell me about it.

He's from Oakland

Is it my imagination or have the Raiders signed about 40 players in this off season? They seem to sign a new player every day.

The Titans have release Chris Johnson.

There's a player who should help another team next season

Da Bears have had Josh Freeman training with them. He hasn't exactly been a shining success with the Buccaneers and Vikings. Seems to have an attitude problem and lack of effort. Clearly talented though.

Would be backup to Cutler if we took him on.
