On the downside, Bears are getting hammered. On the plus side, Packers lost.... TO THE FUCKING LIONS!!!

If Patriots play anything like today next week they should beat the Packers, that would leave us one win from clinching the division. I would've settled for us both losing before the start of play as I had no realistic expectation of beating the Patriots. Hard to see who will stop them winning the Superbowl but then again everyone thought the same when the Giants turned them over, so you never know.

We won the second half.  :-\

Jets staff member trips a Dolphins player

I was a rugby match where a spectator threw his bike onto the pitch to trip up the opposition winger

All the free tickets to Giants @ Vikes in Detroit have gone

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5915049

Brett still says he's doubtful

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5912457

C'mon, does anyone really think that he won't play ?

lol not quite sure how this is meant to be a 'home' game for Minnesota when it's being played at a neutral stadium and it seems like Minneapolis and East Rutherford are about the same distance away from Detroit. Giants will win tonight.

As for Farve the Great... he will play, he always complains that it could be his 'last game ever' whenever he picks up an injury.

Great weekend of American Football.... Washington cock it up with special teams, Jets lose again, Chicago get hit with a touch of reality in the snow, Jacksonville are looking the real deal winning again, San Diego get a v.important over their divisional rivals and DeSean Jackson trolls Cowboy Stadium with an excellent TD celebration.

Well I got that wrong. Favre is on the "inactive list" for tonight's game. So the streak ends at 297.

Whilst Brett maybe an egotistical drama queen and, to me, is not one of the all time great QBs; he has to be applauded for the determination shown in getting on the field every game.

If only I cared about Brett Favre as much as ESPN thinks I do...

The U has a new coach.  Al Golden.  I know who he is because he was at Temple and I follow Philly teams (having lived there for 5 years) to a point.  He pretty much created the Temple football program.  Good exp. but not BIG exp.  Hope it works.

Sky are showing the "RedZone" channel for the first game today

I've heard rave reviews about this.

Hopefully it'll be good

Donovan McNabb has been dropped to third string QB for the rest of the season.

I suspect that's him done in DC.

Maybe Minnesota or Miami next season ?

Sort of torn in the next set of fixtures. Giants - Packers.

In one way I want the Giants to lose, to give us a better chance of home-field advantage. Plus the Giants tanked us earlier in the season.

On the other hand I hate the 'Tottenham Media Darlings' Packers and it would be funny if they don't make the play-offs.

DA BEARS!!!

So, we beat Randy's team who look like they're going to end up with the same record as last season. I don't know how the Stealers are still top, we should be :( atleast we can get the last laugh when we beat them in the playoffs.

Going to be a really interesting final week of games next week especially who'll get the WC spots in the NFC. I'd really like to see the Bucs in there. I don't want Atlanta anywhere near the NFCCG, if they're hopefully not it'll be the Eagles vs Saints.

Favre says that he's retired

I'll believe this when we go a complete season without him playing

Fair play to the Bears putting their all into the game last night.  First defence for a while to keep Rodgers relatively quiet.

Also well one to the Packers.  After losing 6 very close games, to show the character to win your last 2, with so much pressure on them is excellent.

Packers will now be a dangerous team in the playoffs.  Excellent defence, Very dangerous quaterback and wide receivers.

FUUUUUUUUUUUU

I really wanted Tampa Bay in the playoffs.. they've done great this season and Josn Freeman is brilliant young QB. It's disgraceful how the friggin Seapigeons are getting into the playoffs with a 7-9 record!!! No way should they be allowed into the playoffs. It's annoying how they'll be in the playoffs whereas a team like the Bucs who've done great won't be :(

Oh well, should be a good weekend of wildcard games this weekend. Ravens have got Kansas City away, will be a test but I do think we'll have too much for them. I also see Indianappolis beating the Jets, Eagles beating the Packers and the Saints thrashing the Seahawks.

I desperately want Eagles to beat Packers. Not just because I dislike the Packers but also because I would much rather face the Eagles than the Saints in the divisional game.

Play-off predictions anyone?

I'll go with (winners in capitals)...

Wildcard Games

AFC

Jets at COLTS
RAVENS at Jets

NFC

PACKERS at Eagles
SAINTS at Seahawks

Divisional Games

AFC

Ravens at PATRIOTS
COLTS at Steelers

NFC

Packers at FALCONS
SAINTS at Bears (hope I'm wrong though come on Da Bears!)

Championship Games

AFC

COLTS at Patriots

NFC

Saints at FALCONS

Superbowl

Colts 20 FALCONS 24

Actually I sort of think the Patriots will win it but that seems too boring and obvious a choice.
