Boise State - lol. Surely no-one can take them seriously now after losing last night? Contenders for the NC game my ass...

It was disappointing to see Boise State lose. I'm with Wilbon and Feinstein when it comes to the BCS.

I'm in favour of anything that sees its crash and burn.

The "cartel" also got lucky with Auburn scraping a victory over 'Bama. Normally I'm an Auburn fan (due to the Bo Jackson connection) but I was hoping they'd lose, so that the BCS title game would have had to include one team from a non-automatic bid conference (ie TCU).

True, after Boise lost I had mixed emotions... I don't like Boise State, they keep talking themselves up despite having quite an easy schedule and I hate how ESPN jumps on their bandwagon, but at the same time I would of really liked to see them play a top team like Auburn or Oregon because it'd be interesting to see how they'd get on against one of those teams. A loss for them was a big dent, I don't want to see them play TCU again... maybe they still might have a chance to play in Rose Bowl against a pretty decent opponent like Wisconsin or Ohio State.

Great win for Auburn though... watching Alabama crumble after leading 24-0 at home reminded me of Villa who like to throw away leads after playing well... Cam Newton for Heisman now? Looking pretty good.

....... at least for a while, until he has to hand it back.

How, in the world's most capitalist country, an organisation like the NCAA gets away with not paying its performers is beyond me.

Bloody hell, the Steelers were trying everything they could to lose that one.  Just squeezed by in OT.

Unexpected but good win from the Bears even after a tremendous pass at the end to give Eagles a fighting chance. And with Green Bay cocking up we are now top of the North.

The Bills are having a Villa-esque season, luck-wise.

They've been in  with a chance in most of their games but just keep coming up short

Great game between the falcons and packers last night,

Two best teams in the NFC for me.

Unlike the Jets who keep coming up on the right side of the close games.    Although the Jets are a much better team.

I've heard that they've spoken to Gruden. He'd be a great hire but I fully expect him to return to the NFL once Tampa actually stop paying him not to coach.

More worryingly, I've also heard that the Mike Leach (he of "having players locked in sheds" fame) is in the running.

Other than that I've no clue.

What does everyone think of the Cam Newton situation ?

Does anyone really think that he didn't know that his father was pimping him out to the highest bidder ?

Bears win again. Although the Lions have lost their last 18 Divisional matches before today.

Unlucky for Ravens to lose when they played so well, just one mistake ruined a potential great night for us. Should of won, we contained Steelers for most of the match, defended great and then balls it up on OUR OWN OFFENSE lol. It's the Steelers division to lose now.

Great win for Oakland, some incredible fake plays by them yesterday catching out Diego... great performance. Not convinced by Chicago though, there record does flatter them... it's annoying how they keep winning I really don't think they're that good.
