Unlucky for Ravens to lose when they played so well, just one mistake ruined a potential great night for us. Should of won, we contained Steelers for most of the match, defended great and then balls it up on OUR OWN OFFENSE lol. It's the Steelers division to lose now.

That's payback for the one you stole earlier in the year.   Also for the cheapshots on Miller and Big Ben.

The U vs. Notre Dame on New Years Eve!

I am having a Miami party at my house if anyone wants to come!  Anyone? Anyone...?

(I just wish that the U had a coach... and a qb... and a rb... etc)

1 more win and Da Bears should be in the play-offs.

difficult to see us going far through them though.

Still, makes up for hearing every year that the Packers are going to win the Superbowl. Media darlings, they're as bad a smegging Tottenham.

How 'bout them Patriots ?

Brady's performance alone got me into the playoffs in my fanatasy league.   Other than that, he can fuck right off.

Brady's the man, he's the pimp... that Patriots team look unstoppable and it's nice to see them completely destroy the overrated Jets. Good luck to Chicago on Sunday lol.

As for the Jets... GTFO. I cannot stand the drug dealer Santonio Holmes and fatty Rex Ryan - I've had enough of their bullshit, they remind me of spurs so much. Hopefully they lose a few more and play New England again @ Foxboro in the WC game lol.

Yeah, the hit by McClain wasn't nice it was OTT even with a helmet on Millers head... I'd just like to see some consistency by Goodell in the NFL with fines and suspensions. Did you see that thuggish and cowardly hit by Rolando on Darren Sproles? It left Sproles concussed, why go that low with your helmet when Sproles is like 5'6''?!

Here's the video of it...

Congratulations to Auburn's Cam Newton on winning the Heisman Trophy.

Best put on your mantelpiece quickly and take some photos because you'll probably have to hand it back at some point.

As the first stage of his punishment, Cam could well up having to play for the Carolina Panthers

Metrodome roof collapses

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5911532

Start your conspiracy theories now regarding Favre's injury and his consecutive game streak.

It'll be quite simple to fix the dome. Just have Favre hold a news conference and the hot air will have the roof inflated in no time

What it looks like now

What it should look like

EDIT - Possible alternative venues are the new University of Minnesota stadium, Ford Field in Detroit or the New Orleans Superdome. Whatever venue, it looks likely that the game will be on Monday evening

Detroit is looking favourite because Fox Sports' cameras are already in place in that stadium

^^^ I just saw a video on sky sports of the roof collapsing live - looked like something out of a movie. Awful 'arena' though, just awful. Why on earth have they got a roof made out of a giant bedsheet? It's not even a roof.

It's about time the Vikings get a new stadium and move out of that dump otherwise they could become the LA Vikings lol.

Oh, and yeah, well done Cam Newton... deserved the award because he was the best college football player this season. I don't really care too much what happens off the pitch, the NCAA thought he had no involvment and that's good enough for me. I find it unfair he should be screwed over because his father is a crook. I know it's not the same thing but it'd be like denying Mike Vick a probowl place because he used to be a dog killer etc...

Also, great news that Sky will be giving us "RedZone" next week. I've heard rave reviews about Scott Hanson and the programme itself

As I mentioned above, the Minnesota Gophers recently had a new stadium built. Considering that they have a maximum of seven home games and the Vikings have eight (plus preseason and potential playoffs), I don't understand why they didn't join forces and built a new facility.

I've not been to a football game in the Metrodome. I've been to several baseball games there and it was awful for that sport.

On the downside, Bears are getting hammered. On the plus side, Packers lost.... TO THE FUCKING LIONS!!!

If Patriots play anything like today next week they should beat the Packers, that would leave us one win from clinching the division. I would've settled for us both losing before the start of play as I had no realistic expectation of beating the Patriots. Hard to see who will stop them winning the Superbowl but then again everyone thought the same when the Giants turned them over, so you never know.
