Good result for the Bears against Divisional rivals.

Which should put Minnesota out of the play-offs, unless they have a miracle run.

DA BEARS!!!

Actually looked quite good today. Even our Offensive Line stood up. Not fancying our trip to Miami on Thursday though. Thursday night football really is a load of bollocks. They have a massive advantage as they are at home (and were at home today) so can have four days' practice without having to travel anywhere. Oh well, you never know.

Hopefully Vikings will do us a favour against the Packers next week. They will have to play a lot better than they did today, but I imagine their quarter-back might be up for that game.

The Eagles beating up on the Redskins - 4 minutes until half time and it's 42-14.

The Eagles first 5 drives all went for touchdowns.  Insane stuff.

And in other related "insane" stuff, the Washington Potatoes give McNabb a contract extension

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=5809694

A couple of weeks ago, Shanahan pulled Donovan with two minutes to go because the coach didn't think thatb the QB could handle the non-huddle. Now they're giving him $40m guaranteed.

All seems a bit strange

my mind was blown watching the 1st quarter of Redkins vs Eagles last night... first play with Vick bombing it down to DeSean Jackson was just amazing, and from then it just kept on getting better and better - I've never seen such a one sided domination in the NFL.

Michael Vick is just incredible, the dude is the best QB in the NFL right now. I can see the Eagles going far this season with Vick as QB.

Its Northwestern v Illinois at Wrigley today.

The Health and Safety say that the one endzone is too close to the wall (well, the goalposts are bolted to the wall, so that might have been a hint that there was a problem).

Therefore, all offensive plays will take place towards the other endzone.

Should be a great night of NFL action.  I'll be streaming Packers at Vikings, then watching Colts at Patriots and Giants at Eagles on the tele.  3 great games should ease todays pain.

Another great performance by Rodgers and the Packers.  Obviously trying to put the final nail in as many head coaches coffins as possible.

Packers are very close to being 10 and 0 this season.  Two overtime loses and a game against the bears they threw away by giving up so many needless penaltys.  The defence has been incredible and Rodger's has now rediscovered last seasons form.

Considering the ridiculous injuries they have had they've done brilliantly.
