Clearly not a true statement, but the coverage does seem to have improved leaps and bounds since I last lived there.

Actually coverage is down by 3 games a week this year.

There's no MNF and only two games on Sundays instead of the previous four (two on normal Sky and two on "Red Button")

Sky seemed pretty late in advertising the NFL this year. Who's got the Monday night game then - still CH5?

Having given in and got ESPN (for the UFC) I watched that Florida Seminoles / Miami game - the 38-34 - wow!!

Being a 'Noles fan myself, was pretty gutted about that one.  Generally find college stuff far more exciting than NFL & this was no exception

MNF not on UK tv this season.

NFLUK are encouraging people to sign up to the NFL's on line service in order to get it.

If I have any Tuesdays off work I'll probably try and find it on a dodgy internet feed then.

Ohio State college football player Terelle Pryor on Michael Vick .........

Quote
“Not everybody’s the perfect person in the world,” he said. “I mean everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever. I think that people need a second chance, and I’ve always looked up to Mike Vick, and I always will.”

Here's my predictions for the season. I haven't been following the pre-season or the comings and going too closely though so probably even wronger than usual... (numbers in brackets indicate estimated post-season ranking)

AFC
East - Patriots (1)
North - Steelers (2)
South - Colts (3)
West  - Chargers (4)
Wildcards - Titans (5), Texans (6)

Wildcard Games:- Colts beat Texans, Titans beat Chargers
Divisional Games:- Patriots beat Titans, Colts beat Steelers
Conference Game:- Patriots beat Colts

NFC
East - Giants (1)
North - Da Bears, obviously (2)
South - Saints (4)
West - 49ers (3)
Wilcards - Redskins (5), Cowboys (6)

Wildcard Games:- Cowboys beat 49ers, Redskins beat Saints
Divisional Games:- Giants beat Cowboys, Bears beat Redskins
Comference Game:- Giants beat Bears :-(

Superbowl:- Patriots beat Giants

Biggest Surprise Teams:- 49ers, Saints
Biggest Disappointments:- Vikings, Eagles, Cardinals

I'll agree with Pats v G-Men in the Superbowl.

It'll be interesting to see how the Favre experiment goes in Minnesota.

Anyone else going to Pats v Bucs @ Wemberley ?

Yep, I'm going - the Bucs are my NFL team.  Seen them a few times in Tampa & loved it.  Might be a tad cooler in London though!
