He might see it that way. Or he might might see it as a chance to play all the time.
Either way I think its unlikely. But he's the right kind of player. Our midfield last season was as stalwart and imposing as Chessington World of Adventure. Small children could probably wander around in it without fear too.

Karim El Ahmadi

El Ahmadi looks a decent player. He's quite nimble and covers the pitch quickly. Seems to read the game well. From the look of it too, though I'm basing this on Youtube, he seems to instigate a lot of attacks when on the ball. Always seems to be available for his team mates to pass to as well. I think if anything he seems like a more techniquely accomplished Nigel Reo-Coker. He's got that engine and a turn of speed. Always running but is able to keep the ball a lot better.

Well, here's hoping. The Prem is a whole other level to the Dutch league in fairness. Nige may look just as accomplished in the Championship.

But I like that its not a usual type of signing for us. He's a little bit of an unknown. I look forward to seeing him and Holman playing.

So, just to sum up, it'll be Holman officially, but a guy called Karim El Ahmadi will sign from Feyenoord for around two mill!!  I'd say on or around the 2nd of July.
