Anyone able to find out / know what PL's aquisition ability was like at the Canaries?

Was he a ditherer like MON?
Was he prone to buy more than one at a time?
Did he like to get his targets in early or leave it till last minute?

Most of these managers have a way about them and it does not change when they change clubs its how they like to do things

I suppose whatever money he has available will be more than he has ever had before so that might make him take a bit more time

Well, he's handed a list of targets to Faulkner already, so I'm guessing the delay, such as it is, is due to players and agents being on holidays, plus the Euros.  Nothing much ever happens during a window with a tiurnament until that tournament is over.

The number of transfers always pick up in July once the players are back in training but the bulk happen in August - probably because some deals require a lot of work and for certain things to happen first.

It can be like buying a house - you end up in a chain where one club wants a specific player and will only let the player you're after go once they've got them. It must be like a game of Domino's at times, especially with agents involved. The big i.e. Champions League clubs always seem to get the majority of their business done early.

Where to start on disagreeing with that? He is almost as crap as Jordan Henderson, perhaps that is the most telling comment I could make. You can always tell crap players because people can remember the individual games in which they played well. In Reo-Coker's case, you can go one better than that and actually remember the passes he completed. Bolton in the Championship is his standard and there he should stay
