Quite right. How do people even know what they think if they hate them so much? It's like moaning about electricity as you step into the bath holding a toaster. If you're getting upset, it may be your own fault.

I've never listened to talksport, I've never watched a podcast with Jennings on and I genuinely have no idea where else I may come across anything directly from him but, even without it being mentioned on here, I've seen quotes from him in 3 or 4 places about Garnacho so I reckon just by using the internet and being interested in Villa it's pretty hard to not know what him and Gabby think about this transfer.

Maybe you've managed to avoid it by not looking at any news sites about football, not using any social media and not engaging with any discussion on football or Villa outside this site, instead happily existing in a bubble but that's not a universal thing that is even remotely reasonable to expect of everyone.

I live in that sort of bubble when it comes to a lot of other topics but as soon as you have any interests on the internet you're going to see opinions of twats, it's just inevitable.

I find it really easy. I do engage with football outside of this site. I listen to (intelligent) podcasts and follow (respectable) journalists on social media. I don't follow tabloid squawkers, I never read comments from fans, I certainly don't listen to any radio involving the general public or know-nothing ex-pros.

So, nothing really that complicated, and I still don't know what Jennings or Agbonlahor think of anything a week later. I'd recommend it.

Yeah, it's really easy to avoid their work. I only have a 50% rate of knowing who Jennings/Agbonlahor are, let alone their opinions.

I reckon if I watched GB News I would probably disagree with most of their views and end up in a bad mood. Luckily I have a cunning ploy to avoid such a scenario. I don't watch GB News.

Be your own editor. Delete X/Facebook/TikTok/YouTube and Insta or if you can't then edit, edit and keep editing against the tidal wave of bullshit heading your way.

The tech bros and media companies want you to scroll and engage and turn off your own internal edit function so they get the views and clicks and the £/$. Its incredibly easy to avoid if you have even the slightest bit of gumption.

I'm not the biggest fan of Jimmy Carr but he raised a decent point/question in a podcast interview to paraphrase "We're just 15 years into a social experiment with un/deregulated media, how do we think thats going?"

I don't like to curate things to that degree because I worry about falling into an echo chamber. I don't go out of my way to follow anyone but I try not to block much either (and for many topics not just football).

For other people I can see why they might find some things said by Jennings to be bullshit but in other ways they quite enjoy listening to talksport, for example.

Again I just don't think it's practical to tell people if you don't like it block it about everything and I find it strange that "I heard something recently and disagreed with it" is being met with "well you shouldn't have listened then", that doesn't feel like a good approach to me.

I think/hope him coming to a stable club environment & happy dressing room will have a positive impact on him .
Having seen who & where he has played his last couple of seasons it's any wonder he can't get his head straight.
He played under Liam Rosenior, Erik ten Hag & Ruben Amorim.

I only come here for football news. Absolutely nowhere else. And I've never listened to a podcast on any subject ever!

I even go so far that if I see a news article (on anything) and it is a video and not available to read, I don't bother with it!

The easiest and best thing, in circumstances where you can't regulate your own emotional response to what is transparent, infantile provocation, is to avoid the sources of your misplaced anger.

I don't listen to Talk Sport unless I'm driving and there's a game being broadcast I'm interested in. I'm not at all  interested in what Gabby has to say or his opinions on anything.

I'm making a prediction that Garnacho will have similar goals and assists to what Rogers brought us last season if he plays the same amount of games.

I know plenty of things said by people who I believe are utter c**ts because the alternative, whilst avoiding that source of frustration, lessens my awareness of what other people say, do and think, and I don't see that as a good thing. Anyway, going for a flight, catch you all later!
